Inside the app
Everything Readybell does, working on this page with an example household. Try them: tick missions, scan a tin, play a drill, step through crisis mode. Until the app is in your hands, the free check gives you your own score.
Setup and risk profile

Readiness score
How long your home lasts on its own, overall and for each scenario. It rises as you close gaps, and makes a card to share.
Personal plan
Your country's official list, scaled to your household: what to have, how much, and where to keep it.

Missions and streaks
A 5-minute task a day for the first week, then one a week. Your score is your weakest gap, so each mission moves it.
0 of 6 done. Tick a mission to see the hours climb.
After the first week, one mission a week keeps the score up, with seasonal ones before winter and summer.

Supplies tracker
Scan a barcode, set how many and the best-before date. Readybell counts it towards your 72 hours and tells you what to use this week.
The barcode fills in the name and size. You add how many and the best-before date once; Readybell reminds you before it goes off and counts it towards your 72 hours.

Drills
Two-minute games with a timer and a score, three for each scenario, with family and kids modes that run on a parent's phone.
The power goes out at 8pm. Your phone is at 20%. What first?
Every scenario has three drills, with a family mode and a kids' mode.
Warnings to actions
When an official warning covers one of your homes, you get the three things to do now, as tick boxes, and so does everyone in the family circle.
Everyone in the family circle gets it, and check-ins become more frequent for anyone living alone.
The next 24 hours on your map
The official forecast plays over a 3D dot map of where you live: when the storm, the rain and the river reach your door. Below shows an example storm.

- Low ground · floods first
- River, lake, sea

Crisis mode
Big steps, one at a time, with timers that vibrate. The emergency number first, the screen stays on, and it all works in airplane mode, with your emergency card and local radio.
Call 999 if anyone is in danger.
If your landline is down, try a mobile. Emergency calls can connect through any network with signal. 112 also works.
Call 911 if anyone is in danger.
Report downed power lines to 911 too.
Si una vida está en peligro, llama al 112.
Si no es una emergencia, no llames: las líneas pueden colapsarse. Si alguien en casa depende de un aparato médico eléctrico, avisa al 112 ya. Haz llamadas cortas.

Daily check-in
One tap a day. A missed check-in tells the people you choose, by push, then SMS, then a call.
“I’m safe” without data
One tap writes a text on your phone, so it goes out with signal and no internet.
Plan on the lock screen
Contacts and the meeting point on a wallpaper and a fridge card, readable at a glance.
Daily check-in
One tap a day for a parent living alone. A missed check-in reaches the people you choose by push, then SMS, then a call.

Blackout score
Tell it your devices and backup, and it tells you how long your essentials stay on, and the next step up, from a power bank to a home battery.
How long your essentials stay on without the grid

A portable power station runs the fridge and lights for longer.

How much water do we need? We're 4 with a dog.
For 3 days: 36 litres for the four of you (3 litres each a day), plus about 3 litres for the dog. That's six 6-litre packs, or 18 two-litre bottles.
